I was born in the early sixty, this is when families structure can be identified with women staying home and men going to work, and the children bond with their sibling, while other family members live close by.
My mother: Barbara Hibbert - homemaker, strong mind, activist
My father: Joe Hibbert - Jamaican born, provider, calm, cook
My grandmother: Mary Johnson - socialite, homemaker,
My grandfather: Leroy Johnson - provider, calm, strong in religious, a rubbish business owner, cook,
My sister: protector, show love, play together, had the same friends until middle school
These ways had a strong impact on my life:
1. Family gathering
2. Education
3. Cooking
4. Style
All four of these influences continue to impact my life in some many ways:My parents and grandparents laid the foundation with love and support. I have two sisters and four brothers. I was the first child to buy a house, and I still continue to have family dinners, everyone comes to my house or call me for the latest family information. I finish high school and continue on to college,I also attend training classes to learn new skills. I love to cook and try out different foods. When it comes to style, I love to dress and decorate my home for the holidays.
