Testing for Intelligence

Intelligence Test should be measure by culture, because cultural tendencies impact the children participate in education.  The education system , who lacks knowledge about cultures judge children's mind poorly.  Intelligence testing which is about 100 years old, and out of date needs to be update.

Intelligence Testing has also been accused of unfairly stratifying test-takers by race, gender class and culture; of minimizing the important of creativity, character and practical know-how; and of propagating the idea that people are born with an endowment of intellectual potential that determines their success in life. (Benson, E. 2003).
Some 46 million African children-nearly half the school-age population-have never set foot in a classroom, according to the United Nations. They are among millions of children who struggle against vast obstacles for the luxury of going to school on the poorest continent in the world. (Kennedy, E. 2007).

  1. It makes me so sad to think that children do not have access to a classroom. I can't imagine how uneducated that they are. But, in their defense they are in survival mode. It makes me understand why so many people are trying to build schools in Africa.
