My Support

My daily environment that is supportive to me is my job, my neighborhood, and my family.  My job provides everything I need at the moment.  My job is close to my home.  I walked to any of these schools in my neighborhood elementary, JHS, and High school.  My home is in a supportive neighborhood.  I can walk to the post office, hospital, trains, buses, and supermarkets.  This allows me to save on my gas when the prices are sky high.  My parents passed away when my children were young. I have raised my two children in this neighborhood.  I have grown to appreciate surrounding because of the thing I was able to provide for my family.
The benefits of all this is the convenient of New York City.  When I lived in Wallington, New Jersey, the challenges was very hard for me. I could not save, travel, and it was very expensive to live there.  There wasn't any trains or buses nearby.  When I came back to New York City, I could feel the energy, the support all around me.  New York City has a vibe of its own.  I also feel, New York State support their citizen better than any other states.  The impact of the organizations, activists, and coalitions are here to help or make a different for you.  If I can’t find an organization to help me with my issues, I can start my own supporting group.
There were many more obstacles than potential benefits in New Jersey. The outside states focus on families carrying each other.  While in New York State, they are striving for individual families support, single mothers support, and a single person support because everyone have different issues. I know there are many other states that can’t complete to what New York has to offer. I had two family members, who lived in Virginia. We had to bring them back to New York because of medical reasons.  Now I understand the true meaning of, I Love New York!

I love New York... I think it's the best city in the world. As far as cities go, everything's there. I think it's so vibrant. I love the people, I think they're honest, in your face. If they don't like you, they'll say, 'Get out of my way,' if they like you they'll slap you on the back and support you. It's a very intoxicating environment to be in.
